La Mer Body Scrub

Himalayan pink salt, Magnesium sulphate, Vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, Tocopherol (natural vitamin E), Citrus aurantuim var. bergamia (bergamot) essential oil*, Cymbopogon martini (palmarosa) essential oil*, Citrus aurantifolia (lime) essential oil*, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) essential oil*. *Certified organic.

For best results, we recommend using our scrubs in the bath or shower, ensuring your body is wet and warm. Add a small amount of body scrub into your palm. Mix between both hands and apply to your body in a gentle, circular motion, paying attention to dry areas. Rinse off in the shower or in the bath.

Bergamot oil is a highly-revered oil used in for centuries throughout ancient lands. It’s scent is a beautiful balance of refreshing, sweet citrus, and floral. The beauty in its scent is that it presents both calming and uplifting properties - encouraging balance and healing. It is used in aromatherapy for the relief of pain associated with stress, anxiety and depression. Topically, it is said to soothe skin concerns such as eczema and psoriasis.

Palmarosa oil carries a sweet, soft floral aroma that is known for it’s ability to calm, uplift and stabilise emotions. It’s regarded as a skin “normaliser” due to it’s ability to balance sebum production.

Lime oil is a refreshingly crisp, fruity, citrus aroma that is incredibly uplifting. It is also said to raise spirits, and provide new energy to those feeling drained and fatigued. It can also assist with poor circulation.

Lavender oil is known widely for it's ability to promote relaxation and a sense of calm. It can relieve stress, anxiety, and nervous tension. It is anti-bacterial, nourishing and soothing on the skin.

Himalayan pink salt is one of the purest forms of sea salt on Earth. It is abundant in minerals and trace elements including iron, calcium, copper and magnesium. Himalayan pink salt has been used for centuries for it’s purifying and cleansing properties, to detoxify and balance the skin’s PH levels.

Magnesium sulphate, also known as Epsom salt, has long been used to treat mental and physical ailments. When used gently in a scrub, it can invigorate dull skin by effectively exfoliating dead skin cells.

Grape seed oil is high in omega-6 fatty acids (lineoleic acid) which helps increase and maintain hydration in the skin. It is also high in Vitamin E and antioxidants which help strengthen the skin against environmental damage. It is non-greasy and lightweight, and leaves the skin feeling soft and silky.

Our products contain natural and botanical oils and extracts. Some of our ingredients for certain products are obtained from nut kernels, therefore we recommend those who suffer from nut allergies do not use these products.
